Hadith of Jibraeel about Aqeedah, Pillars of Islam and Ihsan in Prayers of Allah

Hadeeth 2  (It was related by Muslim.)

Also on the authority of Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah bepleased with him), who said:
One day while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) there appeared before us a man whose clothes were exceedingly white and
whose hair was exceedingly black; no signs of journey were to be seen on him and none of
us knew him. He walked up and sat down in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), with his knees touching against the Prophet’s (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him) and placing the palms of his hands on his thighs he said, “O
Muhammad, tell me about Islam.”
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Islam is
to testify that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is the
Messenger of Allah, to perform prayers, to give zakat, to fast in Ramadhan, and to
make the pilgrimage to the House if you are able to do so.”
He said, “You have spoken rightly”; and we were amazed at him asking him and saying
that he had spoken rightly. He [the man] then said, “Tell me about iman.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “It is to believe in Allah,
His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day, and to believe in divine
destiny (qadr), both the good and the evil of it.”
He said, “You have spoken rightly.” He [the man] said, “Then tell me about ihsan.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “It is to worship Allah
as though you see Him, and if you do not see Him, then (knowing that) truly He sees
you.”
He said, “Then tell me about the Hour.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The one questioned
about it knows no better than the questioner.”
He said, “Then tell me about its signs.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “That the slave-girl will
give birth to her mistress, and that you will see barefooted, naked destitute shepherds
competing in constructing lofty buildings.”
Then he [the man] left, and I stayed for a time. The he [the Prophet (peace and blessings
of Allah be upon him)] said, “O Umar, do you know who the questioner was?” I said,
“Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said, “It was Jibreel, who came to teach you
your religion.”

Actions are by Intention:You will get reward according to Intention.

Hadeeth 1
On the authority of ameer ul -mumineen (the commander of the faithful), abu hafs Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of  Allah be upon him) say,

“Actions are but by intentions and every man shall have only that which he intended. Thus he whose migration (hijrah from Makkah to Madina) was for Allah and His Messenger, his migration was for Allah and His Messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated.”
It is related by the two imams of the scholars of hadeeth, Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismael
ibn Ibraheem ibn al-Mugheera ibn Bardizbah al-Bukhari and Abu-l-Husain Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj
ibn Muslim al-Qushairee an-Naisaboree, in their two Saheehs, which are the soundest of compiled
books. (Taken from Imam Nawawi’s forty hadeeth)

Spread of Islam not by sword of Army:It is a wrong notion and has affected Muslims also Reality is by Sword of the Wisdom, Intellect love, mercy and Passion for mankind

Actually some Orientalist historian (Mushtashriqeen) always projected Shaba as warrior. They alleged that Islam was spreaded by help of Army and sword.

More or less it has affected Muslims intellectuals and historian and general Muslims also. And most of the Muslims think on that line.

Total number of expedition during the time of Prophet is reported to be in different books as minimum 19 to maximum 27 out of this it is written about Nine only that they were for Basat Muqabla (Fighting) Rest all has been written as Purpose of Dawah.

After Prophet Take example of Iran victory During Sahaba Period.
If you get detail history, their has been full Dawah to king Rustam before battle.
There went at least three delegation of Sahaba on different days and gave Dawah of Islam to king Rusatm. But he did not accepted.

At that time it was necessary that if you have to spread message of Allah you have to defeat the king. Otherwise their was no option to reach the common people and mankind,So sahaba fought the battle under strict Islamic guidelines wherever it was necessary.
It is in our mind only comes the picture of Iran and Syria and we think that Islam spreaded because of Army and fighting. It is a misconception that Islam spreaded by Armies and warriors.

Example of Spread of Islam by peaceful means.

1.Indonesia and Malaysia.
Indonesia is a country that has the maximum number of Muslims in the world.
The majority of people in Malaysia are Muslims. May one ask, “Which Muslim
army went to Indonesia and Malaysia?”
2.East Coast of Africa.
Similarly, Islam has spread rapidly on the East Coast of Africa. One may again
ask, if Islam was spread by the sword, “Which Muslim army went to the East
Coast of Africa?”

3.Indian states of kerala
where no muslim Army came rather Sahaba Jamaat came. Some 12-13 sahaba graves are reported  in kerala. In Malabar region of Kerala percentage is from 40-80% of Muslims.
Increase in the world religions from 1934 to 1984.
An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, year book 1986, gave the statistics of
the increase of percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984. This article also appeared in ‘The Plain Truth’ magazine. At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, and Christianity had increasedonly by 47%.
May one ask, which war took place in this century which converted millions of people to Islam?
Islam is the fastest growing religion in America and Europe.
Today the fastest growing religion in America is Islam. The fastest growing religion in Europe in Islam.
Which sword is forcing people in the West to accept Islam in such  numbers?

No compulsion in religion.
With which sword was Islam spread? Even if Muslims had it they could not use it to spread Islam forcefully because the Qur’an says in the following verse:
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error”
[Al-Qur’an 2:256]

But there is Sword of the Wisdom, Intellect love, mercy and Passion for mankind.
These sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Qur’an says in Surah Nahl, chapter 16 verse 125:
“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.”
[Al-Qur’an 16:125].
Allah knows the best.

Visiting a Sick Person:Ahadith on virtues,Duaa Etiquette Sunnah and Adaab in english and Urdu,Meaning of Iyadat (visiting patient Fadhail)

Narrated by  by Abu Hurayra in Saheeh Bukhari. Beloved prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said
“The rights of one Muslim over another Muslim are six…
When you meet him, you greet him with the salaam (i.e. to say: “As-Salamu alaykum”), when he invites you, you accept his invitation,
when he consults you in a matter, you give him sincere advice,
when he sneezes and praises God, you ask God to have mercy on him,
when he is sick, you visit him, and
when he passes away you accompany him (through his funeral).

Visiting the sick is called ‘Iyaadah in Arabic (actual meaning is return) because people come back time after time repeatedly.

Ahadith for The virtue of visiting the diseased

1.Prophet S.A.W.(peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When the Muslim visits his (sick) Muslim brother, he is harvesting the fruits of Paradise until he returns.” Narrated by Muslim, 2568.

that means the reward attained is likened to the harvest reaped by one who gathers fruit.
2.Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever visits a sick person or visits a brother in Islam, a caller cries out to him: ‘May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you occupy a dignified position in Paradise’.” [al-Tirmidhi (No 2008)

The Prophet said:(Narrated in Saheeh Muslim)
“On the Day of Resurrection, God the Mighty and Majestic will say: ‘O child of Adam! I became sick and you did not visit me!’ The person will say, ‘O Lord, how can I visit you and you are the Lord of all that Exists!’ God will say, ‘Did you not know that my slave ‘so and so’ became sick, and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you visited him, you would have found me with him?’”
And  Prophet Muhammad,S.A.W. said:
“A visitor walking to visit a sick person will be wading in the mercy of God.  When the visitor sits with the sick one, they will be immersed in mercy until his or her return.”  (Musnad Imam Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.)
Du’aa’ for the sick person
 Narrated in Bukhaari Shareef.
“La ba’s, tuhoor in sha Allaah (No worry, it is a purification, if Allah wills).”

Du’aa’ for healing should be said three times. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) visited Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqaas and said: “O Allaah, heal Sa’d,” three times. Narrated by al-Bukhaari (5659) and Muslim (1628).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to place his right hand on the sick person and say:
“Adhhib al-ba’s Rabb an-naas, wa’shfi anta al-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).”
Narrated by Muslim, 2191.

Visiting Non Muslim Sick Person?????????
There is nothing contradictory in visiting a Non Believer sick.Rather two Ahadith mention Prophet visiting Non believer So We should visit ..................But with the concern and Intention that if my fellow brother will die without Emaan/faith on lord He is going to suffer for ever in life after death.
That was the concern of Prophet and in the both visit of Prophet the Sick person accepted Islam.Alhamdullah.
Hazrat Anas b. Malik, related the following episode from the life of Allah’s Final Prophet to humanity:
“A Jewish boy who would serve the Prophet fell sick, so the Prophet said: ‘Let us go and visit him.’  They (the Prophet and his illustrious Companions) went to visit him and found his father sitting by his head.  The Messenger of God said:‘Proclaim that there is no true deity worthy of being worshipped except God alone, and I will intercede on your behalf on account of it on the Day of Resurrection.’  The boy looked at his father and the father said: ‘Obey Abul-Qasim (Muhammad)!’  So the boy uttered: ‘There is no true deity worthy of being worshipped except God alone, and Muhammad is the last Messenger.’  The Messenger of God then said: ‘All praise is due to God Who saved him from the Fire of Hell.’
Another incident ...................Whilst in Mecca, a pagan woman was given to throw filth and garbage upon the Prophet whenever he passed her house.  One day, the noticeable absence of the Prophet’s abuser concerned him so much that he enquired after her.  When he learnt of her sickness, he visited her.  She was so taken aback by his merciful concern and that she embraced Islam.
Narrated by al-Bukhaari (1356). And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was present when his paternal uncle Abu Taalib was dying, and he called him to Islam but he refused. Agreed upon.
One Adaab
The visitor should not sit for too long with the sick person, rather the visit should be short so that it does not cause any hardship to him or his family.
However, it depends on the situation; the sick person may like some people to sit with him for a long time.
May Allah give us Taufeeq for Amaal.

Allah says in Holy Quran
0 you who have Imaan! Respond (quick& to Allaah Tabarak Taala and His Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam when they call you towards that (the injunctions of the Deen) which will give you life (an eternal / life of happiness in the Aakhirah). Know that Allaah Tabarak Taala comes between a man and his heart (because of which no person can have Imaan without AIlaah permission) and that you shall be gathered before Him (on the Day of Qiyaamahw, hen you will have to account for your actions).

Zikr of Allah an important aspect of Deen Al Baqrah Ayat no 152 Muzammil Ayat no 8 Importance:English Translation

Remembrance of Allah
Aim of zikr is to be remindful for Allah always. (Harwaqt Allah ka Dhyan Rahe,Gaphlat door ho)

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says:
Therefore, remember Me, I will
remember you, (My bounties and
blessings will be with you in this
world anJ in the He"reafter).
AI"Baqarah 2: 152

Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala said to His Prophet SallalHihu 'alaihi
wasallam:
So, remember the name of your
Sustainer, and devote yourself to
him with a complete devotion.
AI-Muzzammil 73: 8

Some Important types of Zikr

1.Recitation of Holy Quran Daily.
2.Sunnah Dua of each time, (Masnun Dua of Eating, sleeping, toilet ,mosque, morning evening etc.)
3.Tasbeehat.

what most elders suggest (It is suggestion only and not an Obligation, One can do other Dhikr also)
1. third kalima(subhanallahi,alhamdulillahi.....
2. darood Shareef
3. istegfar, all for atleast 100 times

Adab

1. while doing zikr we should know the original meaning and understand the meaning of word in arabic(like subhanallah)
2. we should bring in our heart the meaning of arabic kalima and know the power behind that kalima (like allahuakbar), we should know how much great is Allah and what all Allah can do, and we should have importance of this quality of Allah in our heart while saying allahuakbar
similarly all the three tasbihs

- though we can do zikr without wazu, its good to do wazu and the best time for zikr is before ishrak in morning and after asar in evening.

- and when in the Path of Allah in khuruj fi sabilillah in jamath its better to complete our zikr before fajar namaz and complete bayan after asar before 20 minutes to magrib and do zikr, if not after isha according to time
